Crafter's Companion ~ Church Blessings

 Hi Friends,

Today I am sharing a Create a Card with all of you. This beautiful die set was made with the "Church Blessings" Create A Card Die set by Crafter's Companion.

 

 

Step By Step Directions:

• To create this card I cut the Church Blessings die 4 separate times, once Crafter's Companion Luxury papers in Green, Pink, Purple, and Bronze. 
• My first layer was the  Green Luxury Satin Mirror Card. This first layer is glued top the card base. 
• The second layer was  Pink Luxury Satin Mirror Card and I fussy cut out the flowers and glued them with Tacky glue onto the floral sections.
• The Third Layer is the cross. It is "set in"to the places where the green card left open. For this I used purple Luxury Mirror Card. 
• Lastly I added the fussy cut twigs from the Bronze Luxury Card and glued them on top of the green layer. 
• For the sentiment I chose an Easter sentiment, die, ink, and pearls were all from my stash.

Crafter's Companion Triple Stacked Easel Dies

 Hi Friends,

I have a fun project to share with you today. My hubby, Santa Randy, Gave me a HUGE spending limit on the last HSN Craft day and you all know how much I love their product.... Sooooo I got TONS of goodies including the Sara Signature Carling Thoughts Collection as well as the new Triple Easel die sets. Before I show you the sample look at my silly husband.... He said I was on his NICE list!!!!! As you can see I was able to get the AMAZING GEMINI PRO machine. It has a 12x12 plate size which is unbelievable. Thank you so much Randy Santa!!!

 

 

Ok now for my first sample from my new goodies.... I have been having so much fun!!!

 

 

These look very large in the photos but I was able to create this so that it still fits into a 5x7" envelope so it can be mailed pretty easily. I know I was shocked too! Lets take a look at the supplies I used...

TLC Designs ~ Sea Horse Samm

 Hello my friends,

Today I have a fun little card to share with all of you. Let me introduce you to Sea Horse Samm. He is quite a cute character and is so much fun to design with. If you saw my little tutorial last week I shared with you an underwater scene where Sea Horse Samm made an appearance. Did you spot him? Check back and see if you spot him....I'll wait...... 

 

 

Did you spot him??? That is right... Since Sea Horse Samm is a digital stamp I was able to manipulate the size of him. Adding some mini Samm images to my last project just made my entire project come to life. I knew then that I had to color him up again in his larger form. I wanted him to make a statement! 

 

Along with Samm I also used a fun new die set (new to me) for the very first time. This is the Butterfly Rectangle Frame die set. It has endless possibilities because it does not just come with the couple of frames shown here in the image but also comes with an oval die and smaller dies to create butterflies with. TLC Designs ~ Underwater Scene w/ Step By Step

Hi Friends,

I am super excited to share my underwater scene with you today. I have a few photos to show you some of my creative process. I do have to thank Shanna Slate, a fellow design team friend, for her assistance in my envisioned plan. I had a idea of using the double dial without the actual frame that it comes with. Instead I wanted to use in in a 5.25" square card. Lets take a look...

Now lets look at how this all came together...

 

 

This first photo shows the layers I began with. The background paper was from the Sea Scene digital paper and the bottom uncolored portion was created using the Sea Scene digital set both 

by TLC Designs.  

 

 

 

First Step is to begin attaching the mechanics

 

 

 

 This picture shows the mechanics work on the backside (inside) of your card.

 

 

Here is how your top piece will look once all of the mechanics are assembled.

 

This shows the layering of the digital images before coloring the digital scene with Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers.

TLC Designs Daisy Frame Fancy Fold Card

Hi Friends,

I have an adorable fancy fold tutorial along with card to share with you today showing off the "Daisy Frame Die" set by TLC Designs. This die set is a beautiful layering / nesting style die set with bonus embellishment dies. 

 

 

You can see the beautiful layers that this die creates and I thought it would be fun to make a fancy fold card using this elegant shape. 

Above is a angled view of the card as it open. I used the smaller layering dies from the Daisy Frame set for an area to write on.

Here is a straight on view when you go to open the card. I have also attached the Dreamer stamp with a single brad so you can swing it back in forth if you would like. Here is a video showing how I made this card.
