Stampin' UP! Onstage Display Board Entry

Hi Everyone,

As most of you know from Tuesday's post I was chosen by my Up Line, Patty Bennett, to be a sample maker for our team group using the Pyramid Pals Bundle from the Occasions Catalog. I will be sharing the remainder of those samples in todays post....but that is not all.... Todays post is also my entry to be considered for the On Stage Display Board Sample Maker at the Stampin' UP! Convention in Salt Lake City this April. Stampin' UP! has asked for those demonstrators who are interested to share 3 cards, 2 - 3D projects, and 1 Scrapbook Page in a blog post all together to be considered for the position. After Patty saw my Pyramid Pal projects on our team page she made the suggestion to try out for the On Stage Display Board Contest.... So here it goes.... :-)

I am entering this photo as one showcasing a card. I used the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set, The Botanical Blooms Designer Series Paper, and the Botanical Builder Framelits Dies which are all bundled together for an amazing 15% off bundle price. (Item #140819) The sentiment on the first card came from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set (Item #138813 wood or #138816 in clear mount) I stamped it onto the coordinating Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack. The sentiment on the right card came from the "Botanicals For you" set both of these coordinating items (Vellum & Stamp Set) can be earned for FREE during Sale A Bration with a $50 purchase for each item (Item # 141234 wood or #141237 Clear Mount and #141019 for the vellum) This entire suite of items is one of my very favorites from this years Sale A Bration. The Free Items will only be available until March 31st, 2016.

For card example #2 I choose this Masculine card because I am quite proud of how the clouds turned out. See back to my previous post HERE as to how to recreate them as well as seeing which items were used in this card.

Lastly for card #3 I chose to share my most popular card so far during Sale A Bration using the AMAZING Rose Wonder Bundle available in the Occasions Catalog (Item #140804). I was planning on making only one card but card #2 happened by accident. You can read all the details HERE on my previous post.

For my first 3D Project I chose Mr. Easter Bunny made as the Pyramid Pals Stamp & Die Bundle (Item#141069) I have used the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (Item #140557) for the basket using the Berry Basket Bigz L Die (Item #137366). this was actually the very first time using this die and it will surely not be the last. It was so much FUN!

For my second 3D item I am sharing with you a set of refrigerator magnets also using the Pyramid Pals Bundle as referenced to above. This idea came from brainstorming with one of my downline members, Margaret. I had such fun with these little guys. Especially the Owl as I used some of the piece from Stampin' UP!'s Owl Builder Punch for the feet, eyes and beak.

For my Scrapbook Page I have to admit this is my VERY FIRST Scrapbook page using Stampin' UP! products and I have to THANK Stampin' UP! for including this in part of the entry requirements because I had so much fun creating this. I have used so many items here including Rich Razzleberry Cardstock (Item #131186) for both the background as well as the mats, and the Bohemian Designer Series Paper (Item # 138446) for the background as well as for the horizontal strips. Stamp sets used were Project Life Day To Day (Item #135785) and Crazy About You (Item #138856 wood or #138859 Clear Mount) The journal box was created using the Ornate Tag Topper Punch (Item #137416) along with some Rich Razzleberry 1/4" Cotton Ribbon (Item # 134564) The lace trim I used is called "Venetian Crochet Trim (Item # 134581)... I just love the way it makes the page feel so finished. Last but certainly not least the Clear overlay and the punched hearts were created utilizing the Sale A Bration Project Life Card set that can be earned for FREE between now and March 31st with a $50 purchase. The Floral hearts are inked with both Rich Razzleberry and Island Indigo Dye inks and then cut out using the Sweetheart Punch (Item # 133786)

Above photo showing a close up of the sentiment and journal box

Above photo showing a close up of the center sentiment. Punches used here were the 2 3/8" Scallop Punch (Item # 118874) along with the 2 1/2 Circle Punch (Item # 120906)

Sorry for the glare of this photo but I wanted to show the Project Life overlay that I used over this photo of me. THIS IS ME saying to all of you in Stampin' UP! world out there that "I for one would be HONORED to be chosen for one of the On Stage Display Board Makers. I know back in July when I attended I absolutely was inspired by all the samples and would love to inspire others this year! Thank you for your time and for considering me for the position."

HAPPY STAMPIN' EVERYONE!!!!

Stampin' UP! Pyramid Pal Fun!

Hi Friends,

I was recently chosen by my Stampin' UP! up line, Patty Bennett, to be a sample maker for our Luv 2 Stamp group using the Playful Pals Stamp Set & the Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies set. (Bundle Set is 15% off, item # 141069) These can be found on page 44 & 45 of the Occasions Catalog.

At first I was a little flustered and was not sure how I could make 6 different samples using the same set as I wanted each to be a little different. Once I began playing with the set though I became addicted to them. My Fairy Land Stampers team of demonstrators helped me brainstorm a little and the rest was history.

Today I am sharing with you 3 sets of Pyramids I made with the fascinating set and then on Thursday I will be back with 3 other samples along with a fun announcement.

This first set of pals I used both the stamp set as well as the die set to create 2 Wild Animals! Mr. Giraffe and Mr. Zebra were made using the "Go Wild Designer Series Paper Stack" which can be found in the annual catalog page 144 (Item # 138441)

You can never go wrong with birthday party favors so I decided to use just the pyramid box framelit for these adorable party treats. The backs of the pyramids open so candy can be tucked inside. I have used the following items from the Occasions Catalog to create these. Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper (Item# 140655), Pool Party 3/8" Glitter Ribbon (Item # 140561 - Love this stuff!!), The Large Numbers Framelit Dies for the banner cut out (Item# 140622), and lastly the sentiment set actually came from a sentiment set in the Annual Catalog called " Something to Say" It is a great go to set to have in your stamp collection.

Lastly I think this is the my favorite of the 3 pyramid sets here. This one is "Just For YOU!" I want to thank everyone of my readers for all of your support in helping me grow my business. Without readers, and shoppers of course, I would not be where I am at today. The support means the world to me. I wish I could meet each and everyone of you in person and stamp with each of you.

For this set I have focused on the RETIRING IN COLORS.... These will only be available until May 31st and then will be retired. They are WHILE SUPPLIES LAST and like previous years the inks and especially the ink refills will sell out first so if you have not gotten them don't forget to add them to your next order. I have used the amazing Balloon Celebration Stamp Set along with the coordinating Balloon Bouquet punch (Bundle is available for 15% when purchased together, item #140810) I have used some Stampin' Dimensionals (Item# 104430) and Basic Black Bakers Twine (Item # 134576) and a couple Mini Glue Dots (Item # 103683) at the bottom to hold the balloon stings taught. For the sentiment I have used the Hostess set called "Floral Wings" which can be earned by being a hostess or by having a $150+ order online and choosing it with your hostess rewards. (Item# 139169). I stamped the sentiment and die cut it out using the Bitty Banner Framelits (Item#129267)

Thank you for stopping by today...Check back with me on Thursday for the rest of my Sample Maker projects.

Polkadoodles Tic Tac Toe Challenge ~ Serenity

Hello Friends,

Today I have a really fun Polkadoodles Challenge for all of you. We are playing TIC TAC TOE.... Here is the TIC TAC TOE board so hope you will all play along.

For my card I have used Serenity Princess from the Serenity collection. She has WINGS so for my TIC TAC TOE I have chosen "Wings, Nature, and a Sentiment"

I have used a lot of dies in this image. The beautiful Gilded Oval Die set is one of the newest additions to my ever growing collection. It was designed by my dear friend Tammy from Handmade by TLC. She designs amazing dies for LDRS Creative. you can see her entire collection HERE.

For my "Nature" portion I created this beautiful vine using two new dies I purchased from the Heirloom Rubberstamp Show. The vine is a part of the Spellbinders Floral Gazebo set (S4-535) and the amazing miniature flowers were made using the Impression Obsession (DIE042-I). The background lattice is also a new die from Ellentina Cutting Dies that I also got from the show.

I hope you all will come on over to the Polkadoodles Challenge blog to play along with us. I would love to see all your creations!!!

Stampin' UP! Flowering Fields Stamp Set Featuring Wildflower Field DSP ~ 2 FREE Sale A Bration Choices

Hi Friends,

I am back today with a coloring technique using the Stampin' UP! Blender Pens and Dye Based Ink Pads. The color pallet consists of Black Berry Bliss, Calypso Coral, Hello Honey, and Old Olive

Using the Stampin' Up! ink pads for my painting pallet I simply dipped the blender pen into the inked up lids and colored with them like a marker. This technique is so fun and it allows you to turn all of your ink pads into markers with just the use of just one blender pen.

Both the Flowering Fields Stamp Set (Wood #141300 or Clear #141303) as well as the Wildflower Fields Designer Paper (#141022) are available as free items during Sale A Bration. With EACH $50 you spend between now and March 31st you will earn 1 free item. As soon as I saw these two items together I just knew I had to color these flowers up.

Thank you for stopping by this week. Check back with me next week when I share some awesome Botanical Garden Projects. Happy Stamping my friends!

While Supplies Last ~ Sky Is The Limit!

Hi Friends,

I thought I had missed the boat with this adorable card. The reason I say that is because this stamp set "Sky Is The Limit" was only suppose to be available until Feb 15th, but I have heard through the grape vine that it will continue to be available "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST" So if you did not get a chance to earn this FREE stamp set you may still have a chance. Simply place a $50 order and choose it as your FREE Sale A Bration item.

My color scheme for this card consists of Basic Black, Whisper White, Island Indigo, Soft Sky, and Cherry Cobbler. I had such fun creating the background of this card using a large scallop punch and ink daubers. Just begin at the top of your paper sponging the die cut scallop using it as a mask. It creates such a fun cloudy sky.

If you notice I also punched a small circle using the Owl Builder Punch and punched out a small piece of Stampin' UP! Vellum Cardstock for the propeller and I used the 1/8" Silver Mini Brads in both the center of the propeller as well as in the wheels.

I have stamped my sentiment in Cherry Cobbler and have punched it out using the Decorative Label Punch. used the Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine to add a little extra dimension.

Don't forget this "Sky Is The Limit" Limited edition stamp set is ONLY available "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST" As of the typing of this blog post they are currently both still available in both Clear & Wood Mount, but they won't last long.

Polkadoodles "Green" Challenge ~ The Serenity Collection

Hi friends,

Everyone knows how much I love fairies so when I was asked to create using the "Polkadoodles Serenity Collection" I was in heaven.

I have chosen "Serenity Dancing" for this first project. Our theme this week is The lucky color green. I have decided to use a soft shade of green as my focal color.

All of the beautiful Serenity images have closed eyes which I find fascinating. The eye for detail in the drawn lines are just amazing. I have colored her in soft greens along with some pink florals. Isn't she adorable?

I Love working with dies and have used numerous dies with this design. Below shows some of that detail up close.

Thank you for stopping by today. Check back next Friday for another beautiful fairy from the Serenity Collection by Polkadoodles.
