LDRS Creative ~ On The Move Neighborhood

Welcome back friends,

Before I share my post today I would like to take a moment to wish all of the mothers out there a wonderful Mother's Day. Without all of you there would be none of us. A mother is the best gift a person can have and I thank God for my mother each and every day.

Today to have a fun little card featuring LDRS Creative's amazing Hybrid Inks along with our "Homemade Happiness 6x6" Papers" and this adorable stamp set called "On The Move Neighborhood"


When creating I always choose my papers before beginning to stamp and color. In this project I decided to use the Homemade Happiness 6x6" paper stack, choosing two coordinating papers. Next I stamped my stamps using LDRS Hybrid Ink in Raven. Then I completed the coloring using Copic alcohol markers. 

For the grassy hill I used LDRS Hybrid inks in Four Leaf Green and Key Lime Green. It is so nice the way our Hybrid inks blend so smoothly. Here is another look.

Sparkle N Sprinkle ~ Nature of the Beach ~ 10% SAVINGS for everyone!


Hi Sparkle friends...
I have a really fun project to share with you today. This stamp set is called "Nature of the Beach" and is one of Sparkle N Sprinkle's newest stamp sets just released in May.

Steps to creating my card:
The first thing I did was cut a piece of Sparkle N Sprinkle Sticker Paper to cover the bottom of the card. I burnished in The Beach Opaque Glitter G1111and then sprinkled on the Super Thick Gold Opaque Embossing Powder EP235 and heated from underneath to give extra texture and shimmer. here is a close up pic.


You can also see the sun in the above photo. That was created using a 1 1/2" punch with sticker paper cut in half. I burnished it with Cherry Lemonade Semi Trans Glitter G1118 and glued it in place.
The top portion of the card was colored using the Nuvo Aqua Flow True Turquoise Pen. The sentiment is heat embossed using our Gold Opaque Embossing Powder EP169.
For the large stamped images I have colored each of them in Copic markers and then have added Cherry Lemonade Semi Trans Glitter to the large shell using the Nuvo Precision Glue Pen. The Star Fish was colored and then Mediterranean Tuscany Opaque Embossing Powder EP 417 was added (using a stamp positioner for exact stamping. Then I simply added  Clear Transparent Embossing Powder EP120 to the oblong shell and the sea turtle. Here are a couple of close up shots showing how these turned out.

 



I just love the way this project turned out. So much texture and real life effects.

LDRS Creative ~ So Sassy Ruby is a Fox!

Hi Creative Friends,

I am here with you today to share a fun new LDRS Creative Stamp by Polkadoodle's named "So Sassy Ruby". Isn't she "Foxy"?


LDRS Creative Items Used:

I have colored the stamp using alcohol markers and used foam dots to raise her up along with the frame to give the card dimension. The added flowers and leaves along with the sign are from the Garden Escape Build A Card Die Set.
Lastly the "Foxy" sentiment is from the Arctic Snowfall stamp set. doesn't it fit the little die sign perfectly?

LDRS Creative ~ Ruby Celebration

Sparkle N Sprinkle Vintage Peony Inspiration

Hello Sparkle Friends,

Today rather than using our AMAZING glitters...My focus is on our BEAUTIFUL embossing powders.

DESIGNER NOTE: Have you ever stamped a sentiment a little less than straight? Here is a tip... Simply offset the paper like I have done here and it looks like you stamped it perfectly... HAHAHAHA. 

I also backed the embossed panel with a beautiful gold glitter paper from my stash. Then I finished up the design adding simple little dots using the Nuvo Glitter Marker. Hi Friends, My personal project today comes with a tutorial. I have created a scene with lots of the new product. It was such fun playing with the new products.... just wait till you get your hands on them :-)





Step 1: Begin by simply stamping your truck onto you paper.

 

Step 2: Next you will need to use masking paper to stamp the truck again. Use the mask to cover up your truck completely.

 

Step 3: I have added a wooden fence partially over the truck making it look like there is a wooden container of sorts on the back of the truck. Notice how your stamping OVER the masked truck. This way it will look like it is actually in the truck. 

 

Step 4: Create a mask for the fence... and use it to cover up the fence you just stamped.

 

Step 5: Using your Raven ink stamp the flowers in black. This way you can color them ;-)

 

Step 6: Gently take off your masks to reveal the truck bed full of flowers. Now you just have coloring left :-)
